Uncina
Hi! I would like to improve Skyrim so I can finally play smoothly with mods for the best (I try) but after 2 months of "do-it-yourself" I'm going a little crazy. It's not so "hard" modding itself after you learn how do it but in my opinion is hard to fit what you want with what your PC/Laptop can actually do. XDI really hate this "high-tough-wall".So probably I don't have the best rig for do it easly. Indeed here I am asking some help.My specs:PC: Asus N56JK NotebookProcessor/CPU: Intel® Core i7-4710HQ CPU @ 2.50GHzRAM: 8,00 GB (7,88 GB that can be used)System: 64 bit (x64)Resolution: 1920x1080, 60Hz.Windows: 8.1GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850MDriver version: 365.19 I don't use ENB.DCL: all.Game Location: D:\SteamLibrary\steamapp\common\skyrimskyrim.ini and skyrimPrefs.ini files are in C:\Documents\mygames\skyrimI'm using LOOT (last version), Wrye Bash (last version), TESVEdit (last version) and Nexus Mod Manager (last version), SKSE (last version), SKYUI (last version).I was using Vivid Weather, Vivid Landscapes, Verdant and RLO and I was having 30-20 fps, lag and weird "heartquakes" (looks like a tiny shake repeated every 30/50 seconds and you see the world infront of you quiver a little). Now also with this less load order I get "heartquakes" and lag... I don't know what to do.Any help is really appreciated and I thak you for be there and reading. 0 0 Skyrim.esm 1 1 Update.esm 2 2 Dawnguard.esm 3 3 HearthFires.esm 4 4 Dragonborn.esm 5 5 Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch.esp 6 6 RSkyrimChildren.esm 7 7 SPIKE.esm 8 8 hdtHighHeel.esm 9 9 TERAArmors.esm 10 a WM Flora Fixes.esp 11 b GeneralDisplays.esm 12 c GeneralDisplays - RS13
Word of advice: this sort of post is never going to get you the answer you're looking for. To sum up what you've said: "Here's everything I've know about my computer and here's every mod I'm running. Can you tell me how to change the latter so it works well with the former." Well... no, actually. That's just not possible. There's too many variables. You should instead ask questions like "this mod is causing problems" or "I'm getting low fps here" or "what kind of mods cause performance drops." That we can help you with. "Here's all my stuff can you fix it for me?" Not so much. Now, let me give some advice re:getting acceptable performance with mods. Profiling is the key. If you don't already have one, create a vanilla profile--one with exactly 0 mods installed. Once you've done that, start a *new game* (you don't need to delete your old one) and see what kind of performance you're getting. Then try adding a few mods at a time, creating a new profile every time. Eventually, you'll find a compromise between performance and running the mods you want. Then you can return to your old game****BIG IMPORTANT NOTE: Skyrim does very poorly with uninstalled mods, especially scripted mods. It would be best if you started a brand new game--actually it be best if you clean installed and switched to mod organizer and then started a brand new game, but that's pretty extreme. If, however, you recoil at the idea of starting all over, you can should use one of the savegame cleaners found on the nexus.

Uncina
Thanks for answer to me, both  I totally understand you RS13 and I thank you for bring me this point. I'm so confused about that I can't analyze exacly what I have to ask for get somewhere actually and I apologyse for missing the point. I will follow your guideline and also ironbender800's advices. Idon't have problems to delete everything and re-start again the process. I have a backup for skyrim-total-vanilla. About Mod Organizer I don't know how make it works fine with many mods. But I will figure out.
RS13
Mod Organizer is definitely better if you're willing to learn how to use it, but unless you're willing to start a new game, I'm not sure I'd recommend it. You'd need--at the very least--to uninstall and reinstall every mod, and it would be best if you uninstalled and reinstalled Skyrim. We're talking about a full day's work. (I just this with Fallout 4 and I'm familiar with Mod Organizer.)
Uncina
I can do this! :D Aactually I did this work 3 times at least but in a wrong way, It's not a problem. The MO problem is that for me is very hard find the correct installing order for things like XP32 Skeleton Extended, UNP, Physics, FNIS, Dual Stealth, Ragdoll and Force, BBP, HDT. The same happend every installation that require many mods for the end resoult. I spent al lot of time with CBBE body and BBP that I switch to UNP and to NMM. And with SKSE I had always an Overwrite to handle. Don't know if it's right or wrong. I did manual installation for SKSE. IsharaMeradin
Return Skyrim to a vanilla/stock state: http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Make_Skyrim_Vanilla_Again If you will be using Mod Organizer, one thing to note. Actual order of installing the mods from the download pane is unimportant as each mod is kept in its own folder away from the game itself. (Note: Some mods with multiple files may need a specific order so that they merge properly into a single folder.)What is important are the following:Load order --> Adjust the right paneInstallation order --> Adjust the left pane SKSE should not be installed with Mod Organizer or with any mod manager to be honest. There are files that need to be in the main Skyrim folder and mod manager cannot add to this folder. You can repack SKSE's data folder contents as a mod and install that with a mod manager if you wish.
Uncina
Ok that's a good news! So I was wrong something about that stuff. Ok... So Is normal that SKSE at every launch of the game make files in the Overwrite section? I have to live them here or make a "mod folder" for them and uptodate it every time?
IsharaMeradin
SKSE itself shouldn't make any files appear in the overwrite folder. However, some SKSE plugins may have logs or other things that get written to disk during the game and they may appear in the overwrite folder. A couple ways to resolve this:1. Figure out what mod the file(s) came from and using Windows Explorer (File Explorer on Win 10) move the file(s) from the overwrite folder into the mod folder. Create any folders as necessary so that the file when loaded by MO is in the same location relative to the Data folder. 2. Right click on the overwrite folder and create a new mod. Call it something like "Random SKSE Related In-Game Files" Either one of these approaches will have that file accessible to the game so that should they be written again the new instance will go to the location in the mod folder as opposed to creating a new file in the overwrite folder. An example of this is using the RaceMenu mod to create and save a character preset. The preset file will appear in the overwrite folder under SKSE > Plugins > Chargen (or something similar I'm going from memory here...). At first glance it looks like SKSE but it is from a separate mod that uses SKSE.
