Skyrim Remaster Is True | Hide The Mods |

just saw the official reveal on e3 press conference from what i could see its coming to PC, PS4 and Xb1 with Mods support for them console players. if you don't want the same thing happening with skyrim community then find a way to include some type of mods pirating protection or something otherwise your mods will be stolen and then be featured on bethesda.net by console pirates. i think currently we should be more focused on what will be the effect of this new special edition on our modding community, will the existing mods be compatible ?? how much game has been changed from original ??

 

Things we Know So far :

 

1. Special Edition will be free for all those who have complete skyrim package which means Game + all dlc released

 

2. Game will be a separate title it will not replace current game so you can have both of them in your game library

 

3. Game will be 64-bit which means no more memory limitation and no need for enboost, can't say about skse memory block management though. many believe remaster is done with fallout 4 engine.

 

4. Mods May Need an update though not all of them but come on its bethesda they break things more than they fix things so take a guess. SKSE will get an update, skse team have confirmed

 

5. Saves Should Transfer and separate CK for Special Edition

There was a PC version shown in the presentation, when they showed the box pictures it was in the back.

 

I'm crossing my fingers hoping its a 64-bit version ..

I would love to finally be rid of all the memory limitations.

 

If it is then hopefully it won't be far to difficult to port SKSE.

 

One can hope ....

64 bit is what I have been waiting for too. So excited for the potential better optimization.

From what I saw, they are releasing this as a new game. Shame this won't be free upgrade, but at least we finally have Skyrim running on DX11.

Which means it won't run like hot garbage on lower end systems that support DX11, but that's just speculation at this point.

Exactly my thought... I kinda felt left out when they said the remaster will be available for consoles WITH mods but left PC players.. AND the creators of mods with a beaten 32bit version.
