Oblivion CTD when loading save games or starting new game

Got a bad problem here, was loading up Oblivion earlier and the save file I loaded caused the game to crash, I tried a different save and the same problem happened, also tried starting a new game and the same happened

Alright, I'll try these for now, I'll edit if I have success <BR><BR>Edit: tried both methods and still the same thing, it crashes before loading the game in. I even disabled all my mods and DLCs and still the same result Edited by Lucky Dearly

Be sure you are starting the game with OBSE

Most of the time when I see this it is caused by no OBSE running or a missing master - use Wrye Bash to check for missing masters. I'm not sure if deadly reflex needs a master or not.

 

Did it ever work with that load order? What did you change? did you add or remove a mod between when it worked and when it didn't? Did you change any of the load order?

Well I decided to reinstall the game and set it back up fresh again, seems to be running smoothly but now when i click on new game in the main menu nothing happens <BR><BR>Edit: Good news Oblivion works, DLCs and all, now to recompile my mods Edited by Lucky Dearly

well its happening again, it started to ctd again!

 

OBSE won't load Oblivion, it auto crashes to the desktop when i click launch Oblivion in obmm

What about using the obse_loader.exe rather than OBMM? It could be a missing master file, but looking at your OBGE log it's also possible that your gfx card is the issue. So, uninstalling OBGE could help too. Edited by Maskar

tried that and still the same result till I removed Oblivion Graphics Enhancer and Oblivion Overhaul, the game loaded but i couldn't start a new game at all or load my old saves without a CTD happening

 

I uninstalled and deleted everything and I hope when I do this next clean install everything will work better
