sblahful Posted November 8, 2011 Share Posted November 8, 2011 Hi all, Basically I'm running this (awesome) game on a laptop that's not quite cut out for it. But it still plays well when I slide the graphics down, so I'm a happy man....until the Kayran fight. :psyduck: I can nip past the first 3/4 tentacles without a scratch, but when it comes to the point where you're riding on the back on one, I'm stuck. I've gone round and round on that limb a hundred times, but I just can't click fast enough! :ermm: I've turned down the graphics waaaaaay low to up the frame rate, but no joy. Has anyone got any suggestions? I've even tried auto-click bots, but couldn't get any to work. 5 hours in....and I'm starting to get a bit despondent. :ermm: Thanks in advance. dragonbird Posted November 8, 2011 Share Posted November 8, 2011 The best suggestions I've seen are- go to windowed mode and reduce the resolution (you may have already covered this in your "turn down the graphics")- hold the mouse in one hand, click with the other.- two-fingered click (alternate between 2nd and 3rd finger. It's the way pianists do it) Finally, dumb question. Are you absolutely sure it's failing? He does fall off anyway - the only difference is whether he lands on his feet (Sorry to ask, but I did see one case where it was working and the player didn't realise) If you're really stuck, upload a savegame somewhere, and I'll take it through this step and pass it back. You've no more big fights that depend on QTE (assuming you don't have "Difficult QTE" turned on), or that can only be done using one single technique.
