Probly not turned to ultra to save performance or didn't set the enb ini settings right.

for example. If you don't set this with ultra setting for true vision shadows keep looking bad.

Theres even more mods that enhance shadows like enhanced tree shadows. You really have to ask yourselve though, how realistic do you want it to have and what other mods are a must have for you.

Gameplay enhancers and stuff like Ihud makes a big difference.

If you go make it like 8k textures with so many details it's gonna be very tough for Skyrim in some areas even with properly setting up SKSE and ENBoost.

If you even know how to merge and such cause of the 255 mod limit.
