malkav73 Posted June 21, 2016 Share Posted June 21, 2016 I had an idea to make using bat script files easier and a bit more immersive. Would it be possible to create a holotape that, when loaded/activated, would show a list of all bat (txt) files in the game directory and allow executing those files by selecting them from the list? Unfortunately, I know next to nothing about Fallout 4 modding. I am not totally inexperienced. I have done some modding for Civilization 5, but I don't even know if there is any commonality that would make that experience relevant. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Reneer Posted June 21, 2016 Share Posted June 21, 2016 (edited) The short answer is not likely. Running BAT files requires dev console commands which holotapes / Papyrus cannot utilize. You might be able to jury-rig something with a special Scaleform / Flash menu, but that is heavily sandboxed.
