It's a self-installing file. There are no other instructions beyond what the author(s) provided in the Description:

Installation:

100% DLC mod, just set the ME3 directory and the installer will do the rest (including add WVs dlc mod allowing dlls). Works perfectly with EA Origin.
No vanilla files are changed, to remove the mod just delete the DLC_CON_MAPMOD directory. Unpacked size is 810MB.

If you do not have BOTH the LEVIATHAN dlc AND the CITADEL dlc you will need to install the compatibility pack.

IMPORTANT: If you have added Texture Mods or other items to the game it is always advisable to use ME3Explorer to AutoTOC the entire game.

Then there's this from the author(s) in the Official Comments thread:

FAQs & Notes

NOTICES:

UNFORTUNATELY DUE TO OUR LIMITED TIME, AND THE NUMBERS OF PEOPLE ASKING QUESTIONS WITHOUT REFERING TO THE FAQS OR ABOUT MODS/PROBLEMS COMPLETELY UNRELATED TO EGM, WE HAVE LOCKED THIS THREAD AT LEAST UNTIL A NEW VERSION OF EGM IS RELEASED. THE VAST MAJORITY OF QUESTIONS RELATING TO EGM ARE ANSWERED BELOW.

...

(B) Check Installation
One of the most common problems is the mod "not appearing". In every single case historically this has been due to the user not pointing the mod installer to the correct directory (the Mass Effect 3 main directory). We have wasted weeks of correspondence with people chasing down this error.

(i) Check your ME3 installation directory - in Origin go to menu -> Origin -> Application Settings and Downloaded Games folder.
In that folder should be \Mass Effect 3\
(ii) Inside the Mass Effect 3\BIOGame\DLC folder should be a folder called DLC_CON_MAPMOD
(iii) Right click this, then properties. The size of the folder should be about 783MB including the latest hotfix.

Self installed fine, shows up in the DLC folder - DLC_CON_MAPMOD 810mb. No other strange textures added and only the Thane DLC (DLC_CON_MAPMOD_TM2) & Ken & Gabby DLC (DLC_CON_KenGabby) added from this site. My error occurs when I start the game & it's looking for updates. I get this error.

***Unable to authorize the listed DLC. Please log into the Alliance Network with the account used to purchase the DLC MapMod/ThaneMod 2 Compatibility Patch, Galaxy Map Mod, Ken & Gabby Recruitment Restoration Mod***

I would have posted a screen shot but couldn't find a link here to do it, so I'm wondering if I missed something with the self installing files.

That seems like the dll patch didn't install for some weird reason. Which is odd since I thought both ThaneMOD and EGM would install it.

Go to <Mass Effect 3 install directory>\Binaries\Win32

Do you see both a binkw23.dll and a bink232.dll in there?

If you don't, run the installer for, well probably any of those mods and make sure that Origin game updates are turned off for Mass Effect 3 as it may have "fixed" the dll.

In Origin, go to Origin -> Application Settings -> General tab. Scroll down and uncheck "Automatically keep my games up to date" and that may resolve it.

A lot of the above was conjecture of course. :)

Ok, auto update is off, checked & there is a binkw23.dll & a binkw32.dll both dated for 2012 even after I re ran the the installers for both Thane & EGM.

No change sadly.

Forget it, now working fine. Looks like the problem was the binkw32.dll. It now shows a 2015 date.

Thanks for the help.
