IdesofMarch44
So, recently, I fried my external hard drive by spilling water on it. Most of my games and content was whipped. I managed to keep the computer going. However! When I started up Nexus Mod Manager, the application would begin to load up (after I clicked on skyrim), reached the center of the circle with the four arrows pointing into it, and stopped. It has been stuck there for the past few hours, doing absolutely nothing. I have tried deleting every trace of NMM and reinstalling (yes, I have the most recent version). Same reaction. I have given it admin's permission, only when the pop up begins, but, still, despite that and everything, it refuses to start up. I cannot play any of my Skyrim saves, because they are all within Nexus mod supported areas. Any suggestions?
ZdaClash
Buy a new external hard drive...or fix it. Sorry, but this seems to be a hardware issue....unless you have two hard drives...in that case perhaps your files are tied up in the waterlogged one? If not, then the issue would be you downloaded a funny version of NMM? I've actually had that happen to me. Either way- Did you try turning it off then turning it back on? lol
