Mass Effect 3 More turian females ?

Hey guys ! I wonder if that would be possible to create a mod that can add some female turian in the game (for example, on the citadel or Palaven's moon...). That's not a specific request, I'm just wondering if that's possible and how it could be done :)

It's possible. The one issue I see is we have, what, Nyreen and that woman at the bar in the Citadel DLC and that's it? Which actually is fine as far as Turians go since they really do all look the same for the model. However, well, I guess Nyreen wears armor of sorts. So swap out a certain type of Turian male with a Turian female. But they do say stuff so that also would have to be silenced as I doubt there's enough female Turian dialogue to go around.

 

In short, yeah, I could see it being done. If you're thinking of tackling it, it wouldn't necessarily be a fruitless plan.

Well, that's what I was thinking : replacing some of the silenced male turian by some female, but what process would be more efficient ? Changing the meshes ? Alterning some program code ?

The only way I know to do it is to replace the meshes in the files since the game engine tends to pack what it needs, and only what it needs, into files getting loaded. Basically, a big mesh replace and then, realistically, they don't say anything or very little. A lot of work I'm guessing. Not something I'd want to tackle. ;)

Well, maybe I'll try then :p I need to identify the turian that aren't talking. You're right, seems like a big work to do :D
