Gehab Posted July 17, 2016 Share Posted July 17, 2016 Recently I've been getting HUGE framedrops whenever nearing towns like "Riverwood" (Small towns w/o loading screens) and then CTD after a few seconds. I cannot for the life of my figure out why this is happening and I can't find a solution to my problem on the internet. I am using a lot of mods.Not sure exactly what to post here that would help you guys help me understand this. I am using a lot of mods.>Your specs can handle skyrim easily, but i'd say your problem is in yellow above and the solution in green. You probably have some mods that ask too much when you approach a city. Deactivate some mods and you should see the difference.Then you should not uninstall mods at mid-game, there are no clean save in Skyrim but using save script cleaner can help removing orphan scripts.Have you installed the skse patch ? >> memory blocks log. I actually just tried installing ENBoost and this seems to have solved almost all my problems for now. I thought I had ENBoost installet, but it turns out I didn't. :O So I guess that should solve it for most people. It was most likely an enblocal.ini change that needed to be made. My only problem now is that my night sky mod stopped working. And I have a huge black hole in the sky where there should be a planet lol. I had the same problem for a while a few years back when approaching the stones near Riverwood en route from Helgen, but I can't remember what was causing it.
