Hey guys

im having issues entering whiterun without it crashing everytime. As far as im aware none of my mods are clashing with JKs LITE mod but when I've uninstalled that the problems stopped so im assuming thats causing the problem, I just don't see why. Ive tried starting a new game using an alternative start which puts me in breezehome and as sson as I leave it CTDs on me

this is my load order:-

I also have quite a few texture mods and stuff installed but obvisouly they dont show up on the list. Any help spotting a problem would be much appreciated

thanks

Edit: Also tested Markarth and it CTD before it loaded up. Would bet my left nut that it will load up fine without JKs enabled but it looks so gooood i can't bear to get rid of it.

Hello,

  1. CTDs in a particular location.
  2. Check the dangerous mods list below. (See /// Useful informations)
  3. If you uninstall or have uninstalled mods, use the save scripts cleaner below.
  4. Rename temporarilly your data/meshes/ folder to invalidate its content. If renamin meshes seems to resolve the problem, you'll have to find the faulting mesh (es) causing it and use the // Meshes healer below.

Here is a list of things you may also use to stabilize your game.

// Cleaning and correcting potential bugs :

  • Clean your master files to eliminate potential problems.: Gopher's videos cleaning your masterfiles on the Nexus Tesedit page.
    Start Tes5edit, simply untick everything, (right-click/select none) and add only a tick to the esm/esp you want to check + update.esm, Tesedit knows what to do and will load all the dependencies automatically.
    - Begin with loading only Skyrim + update, ITM / UDR + save ctrl +s and close.
    - Then load Skyrim + update + Dawnguard, ITM / UDR + ctrl +s and close.
    - Then load Skyrim + update + Hearthfire, ITM / UDR + ctrl +s and close.
    - Then load Skyrim + update + Dragonborn, ITM / UDR + ctrl +s and close.
  • The method above can be used to clean mods. In your case the Undelete and Disable Reference, (UDR) can spare you some CTDs. If I'm correct LOOT should tells you which plugin you should clean.

// Meshes healer :

  • Read here, this is potentially a cause of CTD that you can resolve by following the mod procedure on this page.

/// Save game :

/// Load order / mods conflicts :

/// Settings / memory :

  • Have you installed the skse patch ? >> memory blocks log.
  • Backup your ini files and delete the files. Skyrim.ini / SkyrimCustom.ini / SkyrimPrefs.ini found in C:\Users\Utilisateur\Documents\My Games\Skyrim then use your vanilla launcher to autodetect and use best settings for your computer.

/// Useful informations : about your crashes in interior /exterior cells, read the CTD troubleshooting pages.

Good luck

Thanks man. I've done quite a lot on here already such as cleaning the masters and creating a bashed patch. I don't really have many mods that affect leveled lists so don't think it's done much. I now know it's Jks mod but can't figure out what's not working with it.

I'll have to try and rename the meshes folder see if there's a problem there. I guess there is no problem with my load order? I use loot so there shouldn't be. Plus I've been following the skyrim ultimate modding guide because I'm lazy so everything should be smooth.
