Castle settlement no collision on floor

I can't build anything inside the walls of the castle at all. Anything I try to place falls through the floor and can't be placed at all. I thought this was an issue with Craftable Wall Patches but I've gone back many saves uninstalled it and tried to build and this was still an issue. From what I read, if anything is added to the Castle worldspace this floor issue happens. I'm not sure what other mods I have that edit the Castle worldspace but I can't think of any. Is there anyway to fix this without reinstalling from scratch and hoping the mods I install don't repeat the issue?

I is an issue with DDpros Craftable Walls.

After placing the walls, install the file called DD_Navmesh Overwrite after placing walls_ file.

Every thing will work after that.

 

My self I have never tried to build up the castle until after I placed the walls, and installed the fix, so I can not say if it only happens after the walls are placed.

I have. I've installed the DD_Navmesh Overwrite and then installed the floor_fix and wall_fix, in many different configs. Maybe I'm just mistaken in how to do this but you install the main file, go in game and place walls, leave game, install navmesh overwrite, then the floor should work? Or do I after that navmesh install install the floor fix as well? Should I even use the wall fix if I've had no problems placing the walls?

I'm not trying to be annoying, it's just must not be installing these overwrites correctly. It's weird when at this point I've uninstalled the mod completely yet the floor navmesh/collision is still broken in all of my saves. Even in saves that I didn't have this or any worldspace mods that affected the castle itself.

Yes, build the walls first, then leave the game, or at a later point if you wish. Then overwrite it with the DD_Navmash overwrite file.

 

Bethesda has messed up many things with there latest patch, so if that does not work then the issue is the latest patch.

 

I just started a new play through (thanks to Bethesda's patches) but right I have the wall combined with his mod Tina's Cookieapocalypse, but installing the Navmesh overwrite worked i the past with no issues.

This may not be what you want to do, but with the Castle wall mod installed go back to a save that starts to arty quest. Than after that place the walls, exit the game, and install the Navmesh overwrite.

That is all I can think of to help fix the issue.

Well, after trying that and a few other options I decided to reinstall and start from scratch. I've done it before and I'm sure it won't be the last time. I did check one of my finished game saves from way back to check and see if after uninstalling every mod from the game would that work, it didn't. Collision never came back. After reinstalling the game from scratch and messing with the ini a few times. The bUseCombinedObjects=0 will duplicate the problem with no mods, so I'll assume that going that route with any fixes installing on top probably permanently breaks the game. I probably did this not thinking about it. I'm 100% sure that ini change doing this is because of the recent patch because I've had that line in the game ini for a while now (maybe since Automatron) and didn't the floor issue in the castle.

After reinstalling my mods and redoing all my bodyslides again, I'll see if I can get this to work. This time I'll just use spring cleaning. I'm not a fan of that mod but at this point I'd prefer using it than running into this problem again. Thx for the help bill.

Some mods do need bUseCombinedObjects=0 to work. update 1.5 mad it so several of mine needed it to work.

I am also I a fresh install, but not that far into the game. Mostly been testing out my mods, and a few new ones. I am hopping the next DLC plus any game updates will not break anything more than the 1.6 update did.
