dylanfgcu1991 Posted August 3, 2016 Share Posted August 3, 2016 I have tried all of the methods mentioned online - Downloaded fixes off of Nexus, changed ini settings, disabled lighting mods, lowered shadow settings, and am using all settings from ENB... NOTHING is helping! They are very bad outside. On almost all textures including characters. If anyone can help me fix this I would really appreciate it! If I stand still the shadow stripping seems to move side to side and studder when the sun moves. My rig info and mods used/load order listed below: Also before anyone mentions CPU temp or fps, I have afterburner running and my GPU and CPU aren't under too much strain and temp is never above 70C, and I have an fps limiter set to 60fps. IsharaMeradin Posted August 4, 2016 Share Posted August 4, 2016 Skyrimprefs.ini under DisplayfShadowBiasScale= Raise the value till you are happy. It is not a perfect solution. Stripping will technically still be there, just not always visible. Drawback, it makes the shadow disjointed from the object casting it. Meaning that, for example, your character's shadow will not be connected at the feet. Also, the amount of shadow stripping outside is determined by amount of light and light angle. I have noticed that despite adjusting the above value there were always certain times of the day and/or viewing angles where the stripping would still be noticed. If you've done a lot of changes to your INI file, you may wish to revert them to default first. Cannot guarantee any results with other shadow related edits in effect.
