Script Conflict - How to properly handle it?

Hello,

I'm recently starting on modding my game. I have been doing it for almost 2 weeks now. I first started with no FOSE required mods, but I hit a giant wall between what was possible and what I wanted.

Long story short, I ended up with about 80 mods and knowing things I really didn't want like FO3Edit, Wrye Flash, LOOT, etc. I even installed GECK.

My own personal lament.

OFC I know these tools are required to mod FO3, but I'm at an stage that I'm starting to decide if I dive in the modding community or abandon my FO3 dream setup as a whole. Look, I'm starting to read tutorials on scripting and I don't want to go deep down the trenches. It is too much to handle. I don't want to go back to programming. I'm starting to see variables and "Hello World!" tutorials and it is starting to freak me out, I do want to dive deep and become crazy robot again.

Anyone would like to help me?

I have tested the load order, putting one after the other and it is not it. I have tested removing the conflicting mods, they all work separately, but do not work together as intended. Funny is, IMHO, they are not specifically related.

Deactivating one by one and testing, I figured that the conflict happens between THOSE(pun intended)!

One is a Workbench overhaul and the other 2 conflicting are a Player House and a Binoculars/Detachable scopes mod, that somewhat adds the possibility of removing gun scopes and repairing them on the Workbenches.

It is a script conflict AFAIK. I've read that scripts can't be edited on the fly in FO3Edit by a patch, if it could, I would have sorted already because between 80 mods, this is the only feature I couldn't fix.

I've read FO3Edit doens't have a script compiler, so I would only be editing a text, not the script that I would like to overwrite which the one that does the job. Am I right?

I could get rid of one mod, but not only I really love it, but there is no point on removing it if I would still have the conflict from the Player House that, I too, refuse to give it up. If I patch it, I could have it all.

FO3 INFO

Unnoficial FO3 1.7 all DLC no steam installed on C:\Games\Fallout 3

Mods conflicting are:

Workbenches Dismantling & Repair

Binoculars

Lighthouse v1.2

I could go on my load list if you ask me, but I really don't think it has something to do with it, because overwriting the data on FO3Edit by a merged patch doesn't fix the situation.

The script that I would like to replace/overwrite with the one that works is this one:

http://imgur.com/a/wfozq

How should I go about this? Should I really go full on S-RL3? I would like to go back to normal, forget about all modding stuff and really just play the game living in my Lighthouse and only able to repair on the workbenches for immersion.

TL;DR: Script conflict cant be sorted by Fo3Edit. I want to patch it, but I do not want to go crazy on modding.

Thanks in advance.

Geck power up uses FOSE to edit the script in the geck ,the geck will not edit fose scripts because it does not know what the code is.

Search term GECK Powerup. so far, your almost there, just need the right code in place to do what you need done.

IF that's all you want? read the page, do the things. load it , and edit it.

I just downloaded GECK PUP and I will work my way around it, read the stuff and try to fix the script s***.

Look, I downloaded your file and, besides being a suspicious site, I trusted you. File is empty or corrupted. I've downloaded it thrice, I don't want to offend you, but there is nothing inside. I edited the post because I'm reading another post, you are very active, and I can see you are a kind of Buddha from this forum. If you are in my thread, I'm sure I can fix s*** up.

I'll try to learn the tip you gave me.

I learned in another thread that you guys don't use LOOT and instead do some tweaking to make BOSS work with Fallout3. Also I see that MO work as a virtual FO3\Data folder and let you run mods without changing the vanilla structure. You can go from a fully moded game, back to vanilla, in a simple dropdown choice. Knowing this, how would I tell BOSS to work with my MO FO3\Data instead of the one from the game installation?

Would you point me to a place where I can learn how to make BOSS work with Fallout 3? If is is provided in the BOSS readme, would you kindly tell me which section?

I need to use another hard drive for the file and a different site for it, sorry, I hate using 2shared.com. people don't use blockers so you see a lot of stuff going on, I use extremely good software to protect my stuff and never see things.

IS 2shared a mess? the file is empty? try any one of the mods I currently have ion my signature for download, those are on mega web site where I should have used.

2shared is a mess. Try dropbox? Yes I attached a imgur SS to show you the file. E-mail me the file? I can PM you my e-mail.

Anyway I really don't want a fix, I want to learn to fix. Am I too demanding? I really want to learn how to fix and I did it all the way through here by myself. I learned NMM, FOMM, MO, FO3Edit, INI edits, FOSE, everything all reading on the internet and threads on this forum.

I want to keep learning. But I really don't want to learn scripting for FOSE or GECK. See, I know the logic structure, variables, conditions, vectors, but I hate it to the guts. I have a past with programming and I compulsively avoid programming ever again, I hate it.

I just want to be able to edit that script and paste/overwrite the wrong script with the right one from the Workbench Dismantling with the correct software, be that GECK or anything else and be done with it. I really don't want to go INTO scripting.

I hope I made myself clear. I don't want to offend you in any way, nor do I want to be rude. I want to count on your help, but I'm just trying to clear that I would prostitute myself before going into programming anything ever again.

Thanks for the help, I'm counting on your understanding.
