TCP/IP was established many years ago on January 1.

Thanks to the creation of Transfer Control Protocol the Internet developed to the way we use it today.

With the TCP/Internet Protocol we were able to store files in a folder and transfer files from one college room to another.

Do you think TCP/IP fits in the category of REAL MAGICK?

And now we transfer files all over the world....

Automatic transmissions qualify as "Magick".... Black Magick at that.....

The positive electrons traveling along the copper wires are bright, even in the fiber optics lines TCP/IP is transferred via light. The light is on when a positive power function works it's way along the path.

Knowledge: Images, Sound, and Text, are all transferred when there is light; not when it is dark.

They're mixed in varying degress of shades, as any modder knows, or nothing would be seen when a page or picture is sent.

The only thing Black about the situation is it put some people out of work, that copied books letter for letter, back when there were no printing presses, it put those book copier's out of business using electronic printers, and has put a pinch on college book sales. There is a struggle going on to keep from closing shops where people still buy paper and ink, hard cover books, and paper back novels.

It's the dark side of humans to want to be able to sell their wares and they see the competition is moving in to take up space in the vending line on the streets. They want to stay in the light of day!

Duck Indiana Jones! There's a cabbage head flying your way aimed at a Lettuce vendor.

Duck Luke! A steel sword is flying your way. Use your light saber!

Real magic does exist. However, it depends on your perception. Like how does an airplane fly? I know the science behind it but I do not understand it. To me it flies because of magic. After all magic is just the manipulation of matter and we do that all the time. It is your perception that makes it science over magic. Demonstrate a Bic lighter to a Neanderthal and he would swear to your magical prowess.

Some magic comes from the Gods and requires no real ability of your own as the power is divine. Like calling forth weather effects. Zeus can call forth a lightning bolt and it depends on your good relations with Him as to where you want it to strike. The Bible is full of magical affects the were called forth from a God with only the request from someone high in that God's favour.

My world is full of real magic like how does an airplane fly, how does a battery hold lightning (as has been mentioned). How does a firestick send forth a leaden bullet across space? I know the answer to that one so it is not magic to me anymore.

The magic is out there and it is everywhere, so go out there with your mind open and prepare to be amazed!!

Entering in with the idea of what magic is brings to life a link. A link which when examined with scientific methods can be very time consuming. As it is suggested in the fields of study science minded people prefer to be able to explain what children, adults who are food centric, and people who prefer to accept what they see and care to know no more about it then the generat approach, " Smell it, see it, hear it, feel it, taste it, and if you can't eat it don't do that again."

If I am looking for magick I see it, but it doesn't mean I can explain it. Explaining it to our self 1st is what we do. If we are amused by it, that is.

When we want to share the discovery it takes all our physical and mental abilities to reason with it to be able too. Explaining it to another was difficult, can be difficult, and yet, thus science was born.

Friendship is such a free for all when it comes to what that is, magick or magic. One philosophy is that friendship occurs among children, at first, equal on the playground of the first day we arrive. All of us children, equal on all terms, without parental hindrances or opinions.

Now! With a hint of the theme from the Twilight Zone.

You have entered a post on this thread.

Now the magick of being a part of it begins for you. If you whole heartedly want to become a part of it.

I wonder if we are mingled with selfish trends of our ownership of the mind? Will be be able to be friends without debate? Must we explain away any doubt we are a friend?

Can we shed perversions created by dominating show offs, and not be a show off, rather be true to the science of MAGICK and begin to understand with clarity what friendship is, maybe, to get better acquainted, maybe, to share evidence which can prove enough for another to pick up and test along that last discovery until we are all assured that what we unveil is the knowledge that explains to us all that which we studied?

Be aware! You may unveil the magick for your self more often then, then what you found and, what you manage to clearly define so you can share with others. Therefor you become a specialist in that particular magick.

What form of Magick are you certain you understand fully so that you can manipulate it repeatedly?

Just knowing you can fire a weapon and the lead, or steel projectile, rips a hole in an object is the same as knowing anyone who can follow suit, knows the parts of the weapon and can load it, and fire it isn't an explanation of it's Magick is it?

(Return and maybe you'll be able to keep your suffering mild.)

We humans perceive magic as something unexplained, for centuries the sun, the moon and stars would be considered "magical" as there was no explanation to what it was. Or why does the sea rises, or what is the wind, or how did a pest
surge... Many questions have popped up to us and without clues we would say it was magic, or that a witch or god made it happen. We even judged people because it was believed that werewolves existed. Today we perceive "magic" as teleportation, telekinese, or something that contradicts what we know about gravitation or our current view of the universe laws. Some say this questions have something to do with quantic physics but i'm very ignorant about the subject.

Sorry for any spell mistake (pun intended), english is not my main language.

There is a poetic answer and a straightforward one. Its An applied technology based on scientific principles. Its the process of creating Art and the creation that results from the tensions crated by art. Both statements are true and there is no contradiction in proper context.

The magic of the young is real all other magic is delusional. The monsters in the closet are magic, placed there by the power of youthful imagination, imagination is power for the young,it's bloody real. There's no science in youthful imagery, there is only a growing self. The unconscious and subconscious contents routinely erupt in the young mind providing almost endless entertainment or providing the pathway to madness. The forks in the road to individuation are navigated by ones conditioned perception and perception is reality.
