They do have a high Jump skill score (+18) along with Climb (also +18), so I'd imagine they can do some sort of hopping movement. Or maybe awkward skipping? *shrug*

They're now available for download. I'm interested in getting their stats - they don't seem to be 3.5 ed monsters (I'm quite sure the blueprints are not correct). The sites I browse usually don't have anything useful in other editions either.

Here are the NWN stats. I don't know if those match the D&D stats, but its usually easier to convert NWN stats to NWN2.

Thanks, I'll check the NWN version right away! And I'll add the gray slaad and the death slaad to the family (time permitting, I'll upgrade the red slaad too).
