knottyboy589
My nvidia GTX 750ti 2gb cannot run Skyrim even on vanilla very well without lag. Now i would understand if my gpu simply wasn't enough to run the game, but many people have reported playing vanilla Skyrim at very good frame-rates on ultra with this card, and yet i'm stuck with about 40 fps in most areas on lowest settings. And, in some areas, my gpu usage simply drops for looking at a certain object or building, causing lag. A good example of this is when i go to Bthardamz. If i stand in the nearby camp, and look towards the center of the map, my gpu usage is at about 50% and my frame-rate is around 50fps, whereas if i turn around and look in the direction of Bthardamz, my fps drops off to about 15fps, and my gpu usage drops to 20%. Any help would be really appreciated. :-) Edited September 14, 2016 by knottyboy589
BlackRoseOfThorns
750ti should run vanilla just fine. It might be your cpu. What else you should be using: EnboostSKSEUnofficial Skyrim Patch (USLEEP if you have all DLCs)Crash FixesBug Fixescleaned Master Files with TES5EditSkyrim Performance PLUS (helps your cpu in locations like Riften) Optional:Insignificant Object Remover Reduce distant lod / grass / shadows view in options or manually in .ini files. Found my fps problems fixed with abolutely zero lag, 80fps when looking towards bthardamz. Now i just need to re-add my old mods, and i'll be away again
