Hi, I hope this is the right forum. I have request about editing my download history on my Nexus site profile, sometimes I down load a mod to try it out but decide it is not for me, I would like to be able to delete that mod from my download history. Iâm probably never going to use it again so the record only clutters my list and takes up space on my list. I know it will eventually end up on the end of my list but that can take while and I hate cluttered lists. Thank you in advance for your reply.

The history page is used on the backend for the sites tracking. Editing is contrary to the purpose. If you want to keep track of mods you like use the mod tracking button.

This is just my thought on the matter of thread necromancy. Wouldn't it be prudent to just close all topics that are over 3 months old?
Sometimes worthwild content can be added to threads that are a month or two old, but anything older should most likely be locked down, just to prevent people from inadvertently violating the necromancy policy.

I suggested this months ago in this forum, but with a longer time span.  You see how that went.

It didn't.  I made the suggestion while the world was in quarantine to see if a crew could be formed to go through the posts and lock them.  Maybe give a month of free supporter as an incentive.  The post was never acknowledged.

I have been experiencing really slow download speeds in Fallout 4 Nexus Mods recently. I have done this more and can easily reach above 1 mbps download before but now the peak is only 80 kbps. I really have no idea why. Here's the result from the code from command prompt. Any suggestions on what to do?

Что же, вы хотите моё мнение? Думаю самое первое, что бросается в глаза это поисковик по сайту. Если честно, то как он работает, это вызывает большие сомнения о его полезности. По моему мнению, поисковая система Google справляется куда лучше, и находит тот материал, который не способен найти ваш сайт самостоятельно. И да, я говорю лишь в рамках сайта Nexus.

 

Я считаю, что человеку не знакомому с техническими сайтами и форумами, которые предназначены исключительно для сообщения об ошибках, никогда самостоятельно не понять как перемещаться по вашему сайту. Интерфейс не интуитивен, запутан, в нём легко потеряться.

 

Приведу пример:

 

Вы заходите на страницу мода, который предположительно может быть вам полезен. Что вы хотите видеть перед собой в первую очередь?

 

1) Краткое, но ясное описание мода.

2) Вы сразу же хотите видеть, что тут же на месте, на той же странице можете скачать его.

3) Если вдруг, вам понадобилось полное описание характеристик мода, вы так же хотели бы иметь возможность развернуть/свернуть его.

 

Всё это в совокупе, должно находиться на одной странице, не разбросанно по разным вкладкам. Для кого-то это может быть неочевидно, а быть может и не удобно.

 

В частности обратите внимание, что некоторые мододелы могут размещать видео, которое представляет ваш мод, показывает его возможности, то как он работает. Видео не должно быть спрятано где-то во вкладках, это лицо вашего мода.

 

А теперь давайте вернёмся немного назад. Посмотрим на лицо вашего сайта в целом. Кто-нибудь видит Каталог файлов? Я нет. Я хотел бы видеть перед собой полное и структурированное дерево сайта, чтобы видеть не только сами игры, но и их разделы. Чтобы можно было свободно и просто перемещаться по сайту. А перейдя куда-либо, всегда иметь возможность вернуться на главную. Да я знаю, можно просто нажать на ваш фирменный значок слева сверху, но мне кажется это совсем не очевидно.
