It is not, a simple comparison shows that

There's one that I'm thinking it is, but can't find it at the moment. Could be any of these though:

I also know that the "Better Vampire Eyes" mod which you've discounted actually looks better in game than it does in the mod pictures depending on your settings.. So it actually could be that one.

But there's a particular one I'm trying to find that I suspect is the one you want. I'll edit this post if I find it.

Edit: Found it but it definitely wasn't it. I'll put it here anyway. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/22084?tab=files

I did think of another possibility though. Onetime I found a non-vampire eye mod. There was one eye I liked so much but couldn't use for vampires. So I copied the texture, renamed it to be the same as the games vampire eye, and replaced the standard vampire eye with the new texture. Keeping the old one as a backup of course. It could be that the above person did the same. If not, you might be able to achieve a similar look through this method anyway.

Can anyone tell me the name of a rather old overhaul mod (several years old). I only remember some of what it does:

  • Cut out level scaling and set enemies to specific levels. Mudcrabs and other small creatures were low level. Bear, trolls, possibly bandits, etc. were mid level. Dragons, vampires, possibly wisp mothers, etc. were high level. I distinctly remember getting mauled by the three wolves outside Riverwood.
  • Changed how the perks work so that you couldn't do something without at least the first perk in the tree. For instance, if you tried to pick a novice lock without the perk, a message would pop up saying you don't know what you're doing. If you tried to wear heavy armor without the perk, you either couldn't move or just moved very slowly (can't remember which) and your stamina drained really fast.
  • Changed how certain spells functioned. The first heal spell you start with, for example, was no longer channeled, and increased your health regen by a small amount for a long period of time.

Unfortunately, that's all I can remember, besides the fact that it was an extremely big overhaul. Overall, it made the game harder, though the mod author said that wasn't the intention. I think it may have patches for other overhauls too (or patches were requested), like Ordinator and Realistic Needs and Diseases, leading me to believe it may have been popular at the time. I said I would do a full, clean playthrough of it one day, and now I can't remember the name. The last thing I vaugely remember is it made updates and patches through it's own separate program rather than through the mod manager, at least at the time I had tried it a few years ago. Any help would be appreciated.

  • 4 weeks later...

I'm searching a mod that just removed the gameplay changes to vampire from the dawnguard DLC and let them vanilla, without changing the appearance.

Pretty sur I saw a mod that allow all parameters for that like, you had a menu where you can for example :

Fire weakness :

Vanilla - Dawnguard

face appearance:

Vanilla - Dawnguard

eyes :

Vanilla - Dawnguard

stage 4 reaction :

Vanilla - Dawnguard$

...

Buuuut I can't find it anymore :(
