Take an armour like "Black Rose" with TBBP and HDT Heels ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/48648/? ) - I have a weird little problem with it. The body sections are rendered perfectly, but the gloves and the boots are a weird chrome finish, as if a colour layer is missing or incorrectly rendered. The same is occurring to a few other armour pieces from other mods. I encountered a similar problem a few months ago and it turned out that the NIFs were missing some of their colour information due to incorrect paths. But I misplaced and cannot find the instructions on how to check for and resolve that problem. Might anyone know how I can check this again and point me to instructions, please? Also - might there be another issue that is causing this problem? I have previously encountered alpha channel problems in DDS files and been able to correct them using Paint.Net but this is not the problem with the Black Rose set. BlueGunk Posted September 19, 2016 Author Share Posted September 19, 2016 Please now ignore this - I resolved the problem that turned out to be a stray texture file in Black Rose TBBP. Once removed, all is resolved. I am not sure about the other armour mods but finding this out tells me the problems are likely to be very ordinary!
