Skyrim Dialogue Issue

Hello everyone,

Recently my Skyrim has been having this issue where I can't hear NPC's talking or see their lips moving. It isn't the same issue where some people can't hear the NPC if they directly look at them. No matter what way I'm facing them I can't hear them. I can still hear music and wolves growling. This did happen after I installed nexus mod manager along with some mods. I deleted the mods and ended up uninstalling the mod manager. It's my fault for installing too many mods at once lol :geek:. I would like to install the mod manager again and be able to use mods but right now I'm just trying to get vanilla to work. Does anyone know a fix?

Yeah you shouldn't of removed all the mods. Woulda been easier for us to help without so much uninstalling. No big deal thpugh. The fastest way to do it is to uninstall the game delete the Steam install folder for the game and reinstall it. Redownload and reinstall NMM and attempt to mod again.

Advice for modding:

- read everything. Seriously your to new to do anything but read everything as some mods need other mods.

- read everything

- write down the install process. Essentially just get a word doc and write down the order you install mods as follows:

Mod 1

Mod 2

Mod 3

Mod 4

Mod 5

Run LOOT

Run game

Mod 1

Mod 2

... And so on

Do the install in sets of 5. If something doesnt work just start going backwards till it does. Writting this all down will help a lot in the future. I highly recommend it.

- read everything

- use LOOT not BOSS. Ignore anyone who says otherwise for Skyrim and FO4.

- Avoid manual installs. They arent hard just a pain to remove

- READ EVERYTHING!

If you ever need further help feel free to message me. I can also help remove manually installed mods.

I tried uninstalling it and deleting the files but it didn't fix my problem.

Also I have no idea what LOOT nor BOSS is.
