Getting new settlements for the Minutemen after completing Nuka World?

Hi!

 

I'm not sure if this is the right section for it, so I apologize in advance if not.

 

So basically I completed Nuka World, thinking I already had all Minutemen Settlements.

However turns out there's still quite a few I don't have and Preston hates me,

at this point I've done so much progress past Nuka World I really don't wanna reload a save before the quest and fix it from there.

 

Is there any way to fix this / get the missing settlements for the Minutemen from my current post-nukaworld save without disabling my achievements because of making a mod-enabled save?

 

Basically I just want to get the remaining settlements and play on from there getting any achievements I'm missing. Is there a way to do this?

I'm not 100% sure, but you should be able walk up to most of the settlements in the main game and either activate them, get the quest from one of the settlers already at the settlement, or at worst, kill the current settlers and then activate it.

Well the problem is these are kind of like area's that need to be cleared out and don't necessarily have any settlers to start with :( Even Radio Freedom doesn't give any kind of quests anymore after you piss off preston

You shouldn't need the quest to unlock them, just kill everything living in the area and activate it, this includes "unsettled" places filled with raiders, mole rats, or ghouls.

Ah I just found out how to do that, thanks! I didn't know the activating part, I feel so stupid :ermm:
