Far Harbor faction choices...

ok, finally got around to getting Far Harbor last week and being my first playthrough I am curious about faction endings. Right now, just got done DiMa's memory puzzle, which wasnt hard but damn that was time consuming. Now, obviously the Children of Atom lunatics need to go so I have every intention of wiping them out. I am with the Brotherhood so I am considering notifying them about Acadia. The only normal faction there is Far Harbor, just people trying to get by without any more problems than they already have. My question is there an ending where only Far Harbor is left?

PS: I am aware of Kasumi being killed if Acadia is destroyed despite that she really is human, which makes me hesitant to take out Acadia, don't care about the synths, just her

If you report to Far Harbor about your findings, you can talk to the guy who runs the arms store (I forget his name) about it. He'll lead an attack on Acadia.

The Brotherhood "ending" is a massive disappointment. It's fun (if it works), but it only takes out Acadia and leaves the issues in Far Harbor completely unresolved. As far as wiping out The Children of Atom, I just marched in and leveled the place.

And unfortunately, there's no way to both save the girl and dispose of the synths, so I understand the dilemma there. It seems to be a recurring theme that neither my power armor or my charisma have the impact they should.

I believe you can alternatively just have Dima shut down. That will leave Acadia intact, but without its ring leader to cause more trouble. The girl will still come home with you in this case, I think.

Ok, thanks. I really wasn't liking of the idea of destroying Acadia especially reading that Kasumi would die. While I'm not too crazy about synths, it's the Institute that should be destroyed, not the synths (as long as they don't turn evil and become a threat like the one at Libertalia)

Actually, you can follow the Far Harbour story to a point and convince Kasumi to go home, then go back and deal with the Synths, Brotherhood or otherwise.

My last playthrough my character was as a BOS Sentinel by the time I got around to heading out to Far Harbour - and I followed the story up leading to me destroying the Children of Atom, finding diMa's memories and then locating the launch key and taking out the Nucleus.

When I went back to Acadia and spoke to Kasumi I spoke to her, convinced her to go home and followed her there. Once the reunion was over I went back to the Prydwen and reported Acadia to Kells and we took the place down.

I'd take it that you can follow a similar course of action talking to Alan Lee in Far Harbour, just get Kasumi out of the way first, then go and talk to him about the "other discovery" you made (hopefully you know what I'm talking about here) and hopefully, he should lead his lynch mob up there.

I've saved the girl and reported Acadia before. all I did was wait until after I finished whatever story I chose to talk to the BOS/Institute people waiting in Far Harbor after I've already convinced Kasumi to go home. Normally I convince her to go home then have a 3 way peace deal with Acadia, CoA, and Harbor before I wipe out Acadia, then I go finish the MSQ.

Or you can convince the COA to nuke themselves with the key, go turn off Far Harbour's defenses, then use the BOS to wipe out Acadia. Turning the whole island into a massive tomb, basically.

Well, after stocking up on a couple thousand 45-70 rounds for my hunting revolver.

I actually did do that; completed the Far Harbor quest, destroyed CoA, convinced Kasumi to go home, got the reunion part then proceeded with my BoS questline, but then I got to the part when you have to kill the Railroad and Captain Kells wouldn't give me the mission until discussed Acadia, so I figured 'what the hell, Kasumi isnt there so lets get it over with.' after it was done, I went back to Kasumi's house wondering if she'd say anything but couldn't find her anywhere, so not sure what happened with her....

  • 2 weeks later...

She sometimes hangs out in the boat shed, or upstairs her room.

Did find her just wandering around the area once about a week later, just out for a walk I guessed. She went home shortly after.

I looked all over the their property, boat shed, her room. might've been a bug or something
