pairsosocks Posted October 23, 2016 Share Posted October 23, 2016 (edited) One of my favorite ways of travel is the overpass, it's like the metro for me except less claustrophobia from the underground. I felt that the overpass never really got that much attention, there's occasional detail on some areas in the overpass but i think it would be interesting if more content was added, more spawns on the overpass that include raider camps, gunner camps, monsters roaming on the overpass; it would make traveling on the overpass as fun as traveling on the ground. I normally use a jetpack to jump the giant spaces between the overpasses but maybe having some occasional bridges would be nice but leaving some areas to require a jetpack for further exploration. Even maybe adding a small settlement to have on the overpass would be fun. Whatever adds more stuff to the overpass would be interesting. Heck! I believe there's another overpass settlement mod or two out there, too, though I can't recall the name(s). Any way, neat idea. My greygarden food and trade settlement builds entirely under that overpass...using the overpass as a helipad also.an elevator connect directly tothe very top-most parts.zombie hordes from the overpass AND from the hills are creepyand a challenge! the V111 mod allows to build at the Corvega Overpass and Mass Turnpike zones... the outpost zimonja b mod allows to build on top layer and completethe under-overpass settlement west south west of outpost zimonja.this makes outpost zimonja a truely massive settlement.on par with diamond city or megaton. another mod allows to build near Parson state insane asylum. of course, there's alsoRed Rocket Settlment mods too..which allow to build very near various overpass area. bear in mind,the enclave mods may conflict later withenclave sites.The outpost near the highway up of salem,near the electronics store etc...those areas are likely enclave settlment . power armor battles are more high stakes up there,enemy vertibirds or drones etcwould also be great for enemy spawns hiway only.'hiway bandits' / 'coachmen' on the overpasses would be creepy too.
