How I solved the children mod issue:

I dropped the Simple Children mod (RS Children, months ago) and cause Simple Children is very close to Rustic Children OLDRIM mod, I really liked, I swapped to Rustic Children. No ESP, just textures. Body one, cause I use Rustic Clothing. And no compatibility, or something like that issue n the future. Don't know, when will Simple Children mod updated. But, USSEP is almost the most important mod, I rather use the newest USSEP, than waiting for Children mod update. And I was a big fan of the FILTHY URCHINS optional file (also used dirty children from Simple Children mod) I chose that one. But later easy to change body texture variants.

That's all and in the future no issues like that were.
(cleaner, drier and safer feeling)

:)

Spoiler

Can I get that from you also please? It would be nice to have the old versions on here for issues like this, I wasn't expecting it and didn't even think to back it up.

Thanks!

There are conclusive proofs of breakages and there are inundations of breakage reports. This is an inundation.

The common thread seems to be child mods. I have (I think) TK Children, so I’ll get to figuring out what’s going on when I get back to my game PC.

Hang tight.

I dug into the facegenforkids.esp that comes with Simple Children. If you expand it in SSEedit and expand the npc section you'll find an entry for aventus aretino. Select that and then scroll down in the right hand window and look for packages. You should see an entry in that section that says "error could not be resolved." I removed that entry and my game boots up properly. So if you're willing to play around in SSEedit that might fix it for you. If not, I'd stick with just disabling the Simple Children mod until it gets fixed.

I have Racegen Too, don't know if that affects kids, but yeah, killable children is the only mod I have that affects kids alone

For RSChildren.esp, removing the (now) missing package for AventusAretino fixed the problem for me. The game loads, at least, which has me very happy again!

I did the same thing with facegenforchildren.esp and that fixed my loading issue as well.

Thank you guys, that has indeed fixed the issue for simple children conflicting with USSEP aswell,I would've taken the time to dig deep into ssedit later but you both made it easier to track down the issue.

There may still be some other mods that will need to be tweaked in ssedit besides RSchildren/SimpleChildren though.
