neithque Posted October 28, 2016 Share Posted October 28, 2016 It really needs fps limit. on 7970 without vsync it goes between 40-70 on my tweaked settings but regardless, if vsync is on it goes between 30-60. So for example i can look one direction and have 60 and look another direction it insta drops to 30 fps. This difference in fps causes stutter which is not nice, id rather have 40 fps fixed instead of this jo-jo effect. Anyone know how to actually limit the fps? I tried limiting from radeon settings it doesnt work and i read rivatuner doesnt work either. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
01386612 Posted October 28, 2016 Share Posted October 28, 2016 AMD Crimson Drivers allow you to set either global or per-game FPS limit among other things. Open Radeon Settings >> Gaming Tab >> Global Settings >> Frame Rate Target Control. Move the dot to right so it lights up and set the slider to desired value, i.e. 60 FPS.
