xionanthropos Posted October 31, 2016 Share Posted October 31, 2016 Hello,first of all id like to say to my fellow Bethesda worshipers or raging serial killers i do not blame anyone i do not even know if its a mod issue or game issue i just need some community power so without further delay! I have a save game on my way up mountain to them elderly yoda's teach me some uber whining,when i suddenly encounter a wispmother(ethereal moby casts icy spells light blue -hazel color spawn about illusions of self) who i can kill easily but when i do so: 1)Screen goes pitch black 2)UI is still there(health bars magicka bar stamina bar) 3)music keeps going 4)no sound fx or any movement happens behind the black screen game is totally freezballing now ive searched a lot and i found a post for Skyrim vanilla which states that killing illusions or even the actual mob that spawns them (wispmother) can some times bloat the save and cause a crash from that moment onward,so my question is if anyone has encountered any similar issues be it either due to a mod bug or main game bug or what ever i just want it gone,i also tried to ''tcl'' through wall and see what will happen if the mob dies with me far away (lydia smacks the living [censored] out of it)and to my great surprise i froze again even tho half way to oblivion and mid air,also i have noticed that the mob does some kind of spell around me the moment it dies and its the last thing i can see before freezing,i have tried loading an earlier save but that leads to same result if i decide to kill the particular kind of mobs and anyway i want a solution not a workaround i know i can ''kill'' command the mob which i did and leads to same thing or ''tcl'' but i want to be able to kill any mob without freezballing every time(u tend to kill alot in skyrim so..) Any and all advice,help,raging spree comments are welcome! i have also posted in Bethesda forum so if i find a solution my self ill let u guys know altho it would seem im the only lucky bastard with this issue! xionanthropos Posted October 31, 2016 Author Share Posted October 31, 2016 Are you using mods? and if so did you add any from Skyrim to SSE?I decided to do a clean install of the same mods,see if i can reproduce the issue,not to mention new versions and updates are being published by the minute,but yes i do have mods and i have apachi skyhair from Skyrim vanilla both full and the 1.5 for females,ill re install launch and let u guys know if i manage to track down the exact issue that was causing this freeze! Thanks for ur reply none the less After a clean wipe-install of all ''safe'' mods i figured it out,its a perk mod called 50 perks per level!Be it either solo or combined with other mods it froze my game so keep an eye out for it although another mod came out which does same thing more or less and is safe Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Sharlikran Posted October 31, 2016 Share Posted October 31, 2016 I know my post is long and doesn't directly address specific mods but it does list some definitive things. BSA files, Skeletons, and Nif files have all changed. I have a weapon mod that shows the axe when I'm zoomed in. I had this happen once I left Bleak Falls barrow. If I Zoom out I can't see the Axe at all. Which is why I started my post. I'm probably going to have to become a Nif expert to fix that Axe for my own personal use.
