Hi i was wondering if anyone had made a list of safe Ini Tweaks for the New Speacial edition..

And if not we could make this an ongoing list with ppl adding their findings..

Ill start with:

Sheson made a nice discovery the other day:

Skyrimprefs.ini

uLargeRefLODGridSize= 11 <---- Chnage this value to 21

iVSyncPresentInterval=0 In Skyrim prefs and Skyrim.ini under display. Then use something like nvidia inspector or msi after burner to cap your frames. I have heard that the vsync in skyrim is a bit buggy and can result in some lost frames. So I tried and it helped save a few fps. Just make sure you limit your frames with something else.

I'm trying to determine the best way to optimize the volumetric lighting.

Not too familiar with .ini tweaks at all. does iVolumetricLightingQuality=1 simply mean it's turned on or is 1 an adjustable value?

I'm running a few mods that are competing for weather and sunlight and I feel as though I lost my god rays somewhere along the line.

Screen from my original Skyrim. I'd like to get back to that kind of thing.
