I was trying out different mods and have realized I can't make a female. When at the character creation all the other sets and sliders work fine but when I change the sex it hangs then crashes. I've taken out mods, put on mods. Doesn't seem to make a difference. I apologize if this is the wrong forum. Not sure what to do. Other than maybe erase and reinstall. These are the mods I am playing or trying to play with right now: USSEP Apachi (full, male, female, helmet wigs) Cutting Room FNIS XPMSE Unread books glow Dark Eden forests (fantasy forest) Skyrim flora overhaul Rich merchants Portal Eyes True Eyes I apologize if this isn't the right forum Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There was a reason SKSE was needed with race compatibility plugin to fix the racemenu ctd back in oldrim. The hair bug issue back then could just be showing it's ugly face yet again. Please remove all mods that entails hair+skin+body. Pretty much everything that deals with changing character textures. Re post a report of trying to make a female character with zero mods. Then slowly add 1 single hair mod. 1 single skin mod with a max of 2k texture because if you go beyond that..you gonna have to wait a full minute before the female racemenu shows up. Keep the amount of mods to a strict minimum to prevent mod compatibility issues. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Rabbit1251 Posted November 15, 2016 Share Posted November 15, 2016 The problem we had long ago was with ApachiiSkyHair. It only happens during character creation. Fix:1) Disable ApachiiSkyHair.2) Create your female character and exit Character Creation.3) Re-enable ApachiiSkyHair.4) Install and use ShowRaceMenu Alternative (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/20394/?) to finish your character. VengeSunsoar Posted November 15, 2016 Author Share Posted November 15, 2016 Ok everything was gone except the skyrim, update, dawngauard, heathfires and dragonborn files. Loaded up the game.
