Wrye Bash Guide

Is there an update guide for the new Wrye Bash? I am having a problem where I don't believe it's picking the right mods to smash. I don't recall it ever incorporating landscape textures before, and it's ignoring most loot related mods.

 

After going with what it recommended, I CTD every time I start a game. Just wondering. Thanks for any info.
