About my Spanish Translations

I'm Franky, the Multimedia and Music Producer that has collaborated with MannyGT as beta tester, spanish translator, and for one of his mods, as english voice actor too. Between other things for the community, i'm doing also Spanish Translations, first were for "Skyrim", and now are for "Skyrim Special Edition", like the one shown below:

"I'm writing here, to explain one annoying thing that i would like to ask here to put in a clear way all. As you all know, there can be some situations, when you go to translate a mod, that maybe the mod is already translated by another user, but as in my case always happens, you want to do your own translation at your own way (whatever the work it requires or not). When i first arrived here, at the community, i looked at very much threads about translations, i read all the rules from the community and i saw a lot of threads and info about it. So after all, i decided to start to translate to spanish the mods at my own way, that is not other than follow the next rules as minimum; ask for permission to the author, to do the translation from scratch (downloading the original file and starting fom it), and respecting the rules of posting and doing translation profiles (appart from to put a link to the original file, to have a close communication with the author, etc).

 

All has been going good, till some time ago, where some users that are followers from other spanish translators has been bullying my works and myself, telling things that are not right like; i have downloaded the work from others and i have been uploading it as mine (this can be seen at the internal statistics for to demonstrate that is not true), telling that my work is not good due to i have been translating only mods that are automatic translated (some, very little, of the mods can be done so, but almost everyone of them needs to be corrected to do it right, and the rest of them, you know needs hard work to give a decent translation, and i'm NOT refering to use Google Translator), also they are telling that is not good to upload my own translation, due to i am like stealing the endorsements because i want them all for me, etc. All written in spanish, in different threads all over some translation profiles i have for "Skyrim" and "Skyrim Special Edition".

 

All of these accusations are false. I can demonstrate that my works are done from scratch, i have the permission in all my translations from the authors, and as you can see at the earlier example shown here, i even put a link to the original mod to give credits to the original work. I always put three points, explaining my own way to front a translation, on each translation profile, to left it clear. So i respect all, always, i make all my works in a professional way, as much as i can, and i love to respect for to be respected too. Appart from that, i even have messages from mod authors, telling me that they even didn't know their mods were translated to spanish, because somebody did it without his/her permission."

 

Anyway, the questions i want to ask here and to left written, for everybody who has any doubt about my works can read them, are;

 

1 - Is it true that if somebody follow the rules explained before (asking permission, doing from scratch, putting a link to the original mod, keeping communication, etc...), can do any translation, even if it was already done it without any problem?

 

2 - If these kind of false accusations continues, even when written in Spanish, can i report them?

 

 

I have the first question clear, and i need to know the second one, but i want that please, an admin can answer them, for everybody who has any doubt can have it clear. I also think, that this can be exported to other languages and translators too.

 

My intention with this thread, is not other than to reflect here, that a new translation can be done even when another one is already posted, if everybody follows the rules and make it from scratch. I have read all rules and i have never seen that if you follow the rules, you cannot do any translation.

 

Please, admins, can you answer my questions?
