Vanilla Skyrim SE: Misplaced and Stretched LOD Textures

In certain places in Skyrim SE the distant terrain or LOD textures are misplaced and stretched.

Now, I dont remember if this was in Legendary Skyrim, but this is not caused by texture mods. This problem is present in vanilla SkyrimSE.
It does not occur randomly but at specific locations. One noticeable instance can be seen going from the Watchtower to Whiterun.

It is more noticeable with better textures, but still present in vanilla SE.

Ugrid 7+ does cover this up to the point where it occurs too far to be noticed... However I dont consider changing Ugrid a solution.

don't touch "uGrid" this often f*#@s up with quests and events. try "uLargeRefLODGridSize" in skyrimpref.ini the results are marvelous at a fps cost of course but no stability issues.

Thats why I said I dont consider Ugrid a solution, I know very well what ugrid does.

I read shesons post, uLargeRefLODGridSize doesnt fix this particular proplem either.

so yeah, now I totally get what you meant. I was thinking about your setup being flawed, but I just saw it as I finally stopped modding and began playing; I really notice it when staring at water surfaces, like lakes (I just did the first nord ruin near riverwood, and as one exit the dungeon, there's clear view of the bug). if it's a bethesda bug, they better fix it quick it's really ugly. I think because i was using the uLargeRefLODGridSize tweak, I wasn't really able to tell there was a Lod bug, but now its crystal clear.

I dont know If you are playing on Vanilla SE, but a line on water surface is the separation between different wave flow, Realistic Water Two causes this.
