Lever rifle retex and/or custom Lincoln's Repeater mod?

I really like the lever rifle because it reminds me of my favorite gun from FO3, Lincoln's Repeater. However, I think the vanilla weapon is boring as hell and more than anything I hate the suppressor design, it's so stupid looking. I'd love to see a high quality retexture or a complete custom Henry Rifle that uses the lever rifle reload/fire animations.

The Marlin comes in a bunch of styles from classic cowboy repeater style to laminate/scoped modern looking rifle. I love the engraved versions.

This seems like a good idea, I would love to see more rifles like this in game. It makes me think that before the war a farmer or hunter had it on his wall for show or you find of a body of a prewar hunter who was hunting when the bombs fall, Even though in real life the gun would be useless do to Rust and corrosion.

Which kinda makes me think there should be models of rusted firearms on dead bodies just to add the the immersion, But of course of some perfect so the game is still fun.

Well, there are still lever action rifles being produced today. You can go to Cabelas and buy a Marlin 1895 chambered in .45-70. If any of the prewar weapons in the game can survive the rust and corrosion, then so could these.
