Answer from user 83Willow.

that depends,... if the diffuse texture has no alpha channel then > DXT1 - no alpha

and if it has an alpha channel then > DXT5 interpolated alpha

 

Problem

aMidianborn Book of Silence - Armor is a bit too dark for me in SSE. I try to increase the brightness of DDS file.

Which format type should I use to save? (DXT1 no alpha / DXT1 1 bit alpha / DXT3 explicit alpha / DXT5 interpolated alpha / DXT5_NM)
