TheWizardGandy Posted December 20, 2016 Share Posted December 20, 2016 After a long hiatus from Fallout 4 I decided to reinstall it. Before installing any mods, I decided to get through the character creation process and prologue, so that I would at least be in post-war Sanctuary in order to ensure that mods would work correctly. However, shortly after creating my character the game CTD'd. As soon as I go into the kitchen and briefly after Codsworth comments on the coffee my game crashes. Every single time. I've tried running it at potato level graphics and reinstalling it and the problem still persists. Does anyone have any advice, or am I just s#*! out of luck? Searean Posted August 7, 2019 Share Posted August 7, 2019 I have not been able to get even that far in my new install! works ok with no mods or anything at all but add the "basics" and it crashes once the character is created.
