Naked Diamond City Security

All Diamond City Security Officers are not wearing any armor. some also dont have any weapons and shoot invisible guns.

this sometimes happens with raiders as well, but it happens every time with the diamond city crew.

i was hoping that someone else had this problem and knew if there was a mod that fixed it, or caused it, so i could install/uninstall said mod.

or if there was something in the inis i could edit to fix the problem.

loot is not detecting any problems, and all the plugins work that ive added.

ideas?

I had the problem of naked DC guards several months ago, if I recall correctly it had something to do with one of the DC overhaul mods. Removing the overhaul mod fixed the issue, sorry I can't remember the name of it now.

If you don't have any DC overhaul mods installed, or any mods that alter the DC security guards, not sure what it could be.

I have the same problem with Nuka World, in the circular area where the shopkeepers work. I had not started using mods at that time but when I killed off the three factions, went through the marketplace and one of the NPC's said that they were going to take off their slave collars I left Nuka World and went back to the Commonwealth for a few game-weeks.

When I returned I see that they took the idea of "freedom" a bit further than expected, no more shock collars but also no clothing on any of the shopkeepers. I guess it helps to bring in the customers <lol>.

Maybe with naked Diamond City guards they can better enforce the "no concealed weapons". I just wonder where they are stashing their baseball bats when they do not have belts. Well, some do walk kinda funny.

Now, about 1100 hours in to this one game play the shopkeepers at Nuka World still do not have clothing. I have taken it about as far as I can go with every FO4 DLC enabled (far harbor, the mechanist, machines, nuka world) and I am ready to swing over to a new computer. When I do I will be starting all over with the mods that actually bring some challenge to the play (more settlements).

I have had that problem in both of my Nuka World playthroughs. Apparently it is caused by the game mistakenly removing the NPCs entire clothing instead of just the collar. As far as I remember the clothes came back after several weeks in my first playthrough.

The funny thing is I have recently started a new build of Vault 88 and a number of my settlers are walking around naked. In previous builds I gave them custom uniforms but in this one I have just used the vanilla vaultsuits except for a couple who I have given modded vaultsuits, and the modded ones stay on.
