How does tracking and endorsement work?

Go to the FO4 Nexus, hover over the 'Files' button at the top to bring down the drop-down menu, then click on 'Tracking Centre'. It will take you to a page of all the files you've tracked, and will list when they were last updated and when you last downloaded them.

You can also 'Edit Preferences' (from clicking '<your user name>'s Account' at the top), scroll down to 'Your feeds preferences', and set "Show author updates about files you're tracking" to 'yes' and save at the bottom. Now when a file you're tracking gets updated, the little globe at the top of the screen will light up and you can click on it to see your notifications.

Endorsing is just a way to say 'I like this mod', and is optional but appreciated. Endorsing a mod will just put it higher in the 'Most Endorsed' lists for mod search, and a step closer to the Top Files and maybe File of the Month, so other people can find the mods other people like/would recommend easier.

Hello! I know this post is old, but i was wondering if there was a way to find all the mods i've ever endorsed?

Similar to how you can view all of your tracked mods.

I've recently bought a new hard drive & my old one was wiped & had windows 10 freshly installed on it before i gave it to a friend.

when i re-downloaded NMM i just assumed it kept a record of all the mods i'd ever installed but i was mistaken LOL.

To be more specific i'm trying to find all of the Fallout 4 mods i've endorsed.

Thanks in advance for the help :D

right below the tracking center link discussed above (now labelled "Mods" instead of files since the recent site update), you should see My Download History. click that and it will take you to a list of all the mods you have downloaded. on the right side of the screen when scrolling through that list, you can see if you've endorsed the mod or not.

that's the best solution i've got though, still getting used to the new layout of the site but hope this helps

should also be noted that you can also track the author as well

Tracking the Mod: you will get a notification every single time someone comments on the mod in question, you will also be able to see when the mod gets updated

Tracking the Author: you will get notifications on all actively the author does, including when they upload either a new mod, or updates the mod you wish track. this will be less notifications, unless the author is very active, but this also means you will only get notifications you want, which will be when the mod in question is updated

to track the author, on the mod page, click on the author, and simply click on "track author" a message will then Popup indicating you are now following the author, so yea, if you want to get a notice every time someone comments on the mod in question, then tracking the mod is the way to go, but if you only want notifications on when the mod is updated, tracking the author is the way to go
