R91 Assault Rifle Reanimated to HM AR

I've been trying to change the animations on the R91 (has SMG anims) to that of the Handmade rifle from Nuka-World using the GECK, but due to how the weapon is modeled the whole layout of the weapon is messed up afterwards. I've practically given up, is something like this even possible?

You can download another mod that has the gun in it(which is a FAL type weapon), Modern Weapons have a FAL in it, but you might not like the animations.
