College of Winterhold is a little screwed...

So I have two issues with the College of Winterhold right now:

1: This is minor, but really annoying. The LOD on the actual College building is broken. It cuts out about half of the body of the college.
I have rerendered the LODs via the TESVLODGEN tool with no issues other than this.

 

2: Faralda (the gatekeeper woman) has decided to just vanish into thin air. I've tried using console commands to locate her, but she's just gone. I had to set a quest stage just to get entry into the college. Not sure how she vanished, but she has.

 

Cool magic at this college, eh? Lots of things vanishing... Gatekeepers, half the damn building at a distance...yep. Cool tricks.

Complete Side Issue that I'm having:

I've been trying to use the mod "Summerset Isle," but I can't seem to actually load my character once I install it. The game loads fine into the start menu, but once I try and load my save file, it crashes. I think it might be a memory block issue (as the scrap heap memory block hits 256 on the crash), but there are times when it hits max and doesn't crash while playing the game, so I'm not sure.

Not the cause of your problem, but you should upgrade XPMS to XPMSE since some animations require it instead of xpms and could be a pain to find out a cause later.

 

I don't see Summerset listed as active but is there a chance it messed with ICOW causing Faralda to hide?

It's really hard to go through your load order with the pics, espexially since you can't really get an impression of the "big picture". Please post your load order as text within spoiler tags here. You can easily get your load order as text with LOOT: Just click on the three dots in the upper right corner, then choose "export load order". This will copy your load order into the clipboard, so you can paste it here. I'm sure this way you will get faster and more replies. :cool:

 

As for the crashes after installing "Sumerset Isles": The more animations and mods - especially huge mods like "Sumerset" - you have, the more prone to crashing your game will get. It's a well known memory issue. Once you cross a certain "threshold", the crashes start... Since you already got a lot of mods installed, "Sumerset Isles" was probably that one mod too much... Try "Continue game no crash": http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/78557/? It should fix at least this issue.

I was a little unclear when I said that I had disabled Summerset Isle. That particular mod was never active for this save/playthrough. I would simply never be able to load the game at all to do anything.

However, you did mention ICOW which is active and does alter the college, but still, even if that were to be the cause, I'm not really sure how to undo the problems it has already created.

 

@Algabar I didn't know about the LOOT text file, I'll look into that and edit this.

 

EDIT: Just used the Mod you recommended, Algabar, and the game loaded with Summerset Isle installed. So I think that is fixed now.

Just need the other two problems fixed!

Load ICOW up in TesVEdit and see if it relocates Feralda.

 

You could also load up all of your mods in TesVEdit, apply filter for conflict losers, then find Feralda and see where she is and what put her there.

It doesn't look like it's moved her. It certainly gives her more AI options for where to be on the college campus, but that shouldn't even be an issue considering the fact that I tried to move her to my position via the console and nothing happened.

The mod authors (I believe one of them have this on their mod page) state that they are safe to use together.
