Home-made quest not starting

Hi all!

I have been working on a mod in Creation Kit 2 (the one from Skyrim Special Edition) but since then had to move to a different computer, which can't run CK2.

I am working in CK1, and most of the stuff works just fine. The only problem is: the main quest won't start.

Added info:
- I have created a new quest in CK1 which is only for some dialogue with NPC's. This one works fine.

- Nothing of the main quest works. Even dialogue that I added in CK1.

- I can't even start the quest using the console commands. If I try to set the stage using SetStage in console commands and then test with GetStage, the stage is still 0.

- I have tried copying the main quest in CK1, but the copied one doesn't work either.

- Changing Start Game Enabled doesn't seem to have an effect.

- I have tested with a game that was already started, and by moving to Riverwood by using the COC console command from the main menu

- I believe the source scripts are all in the right folder, though I might be wrong here. I've had some trouble getting those source files right.

!! The CK also sometimes gives an error, something with failed verification and that it made a backup. I fear this might be the culprit, but I don't always get the error message.

The only option I see now is to redo all the work in a new quest and keep testing.

Unless anyone has another idea?
