Wattz 2000 Sniper Rifle proper anouncement.

Hi there!

I was watching JuiceHead Mods reviews recently and saw that another modder ws working on a Wattz 2000 laser rifle.
It've een several month since I talked about making some original Fallout weapons coming back to life but as I've not much been communicating out it was kind of a undercover project (kind of).
So as I'm working on this bad guy as well as the integration of the Winchester City-killer into the game (with a bit of dungeon crawling and story telling to please the fan of the original fallout that I still am) fo several months now (it's my fist time ever modding, so I'm leaning as well), I wanted to show the community some images of the models I made.

There is several attachment for each parts plus the "vanilla" gun that are actually made, skinned and ready to go.

 

 

Wattz 2000 Laser rifle

4 different models for stocks
7 different 'barrels' (Including 2 with different laser types and 1 with totaly different play style)
1 receiver (+ one WIP for an unique version and maybe some alternative version of the first with one model for each laser type)
5 underbarrel attachment (which are in fact extention of the receiver)
2 iron sights
2 models for both recon and regular scope which are made form the original WLR ingame art.
1 custom reflex sight.

​Winchester CK

​3 models for receiver (I'm wondering if I keep all of them but could be planning to make a 'special version')
​5 barrels
​3 models for mags (not planning to do a really large round like since I wan't it to look like the oiginal oveall and to be faily diffeent of the vanilla shotgun)
​3 models for stocks
6 attachment (planning to shorten the muzzle attachment list)
​2 iron sights
​1 reflex
​Model for night scopes as well.

I'm experiencing troubles with animation with power amor that needs fixs, some texture and bumps improvements for the Wattz 2000 LR.
âTalking about the winchester CK I would be pretty interrested by a bullbup styled reload animation with a bolt move on the behind of the gun 'pump style', Something heavy. If someone is interrested and if you got suggestion I'm all yours!
And as I'm not a native English speaker excuse me for my mistakes, I'm trying very hard to improve my synthaxe!

AWESOME!

this is excellent work. I hope it will be natively coded in the english region copies of the game,

as some other extra features can overwrite your region locked copy of the game and cause all kinds of issue.

 

(PS, your english is awesome, certainly better than I can speak other langauges hehe

though feel free to also speak whatever language you feel most comfortable to as you like it.

I suspect perhaps la langue francaise is the more familiar language )

 

this is one of the weapons parts packs I have been looking for!

it will go great with the MiB weapons packs,

and to hear you have pre-zeroed the hardpoints to the

pistol weapon set

and rifle weapon sets.

is a very awesome feature.

with this pack, I have n^X or nCr/nPr more options to mix and match from!

 

turning to "ideas" for features on your implements;

you may enjoy the following sources for your exegesis.

forgotten weapons <---- this source has a lot of inspirations along the history of firearms design.

 

the sounds of those sources is free to share alike,

as the originators of that have said so many a time. so, it can be a nice quality of the cycling of some actions etc.

ahahah Man I sorry for you but I'm working on the Wattz 2000 Since september of 2016 and it's pretty much done by now, I don't use ingame assets (as you do) all the assets I use are 100% hand made textures models and sounds.

​So I suggest you bring up something else, but that's me. :smile:

modders, modders... Nexus is big enough for all of us hehe

it's awesome;

I'm going to enjoy both of the approaches

both have their charm and awesome. I'm sure folks'll also try both of these, as more lazer is more lazer!

it's a wild wasteland, and the differences might reflect different models of Wattz's weapons.

there was always a gap between FO1 and FO2's wattz's, and now we know why hehe.

these're both canonical and 'in the lore' in my book hehe, and both make awesome additions to the weapons suite.

 

these mods should work well together and not have any hiccups or conflicts.

both of you have added nPr's worth of awesome weapon components to FO4;

it's getting to a point where with n^X worth of mod combos... it'll take longer than the universe to try them all out hehe.

 

call me a blasphemer, though I'm going to be cannibalizing both of these to see

what monstrosities can be made with Any Mod Any Weapon hehe.

nachocheez1's variant will be GREAT as a 'distressed damaged' version, or a sub-machine lazer with that Lazer RCW overhaul standalone mod. a mid range carbine. maybe a cross over with the WARS project, Pipe Overhaul, JoergSprave or Forgotten Weapons "kyber pass" stuff.

bOMKHA's will be interesting to mix'n'match into a heavy-weapon or institute with rail-rifle and cryolator parts.

maybe a gatling wattz.

 

MiB weapons parts pack + either of these will make steam-punk rayguns.

maybe a 'wattz bryar pistol" esque stubby variant.

the pinball 'rickety ricochet rifle" stock with the wattz could make for a humorous variant of the lazer musket... (say goodbye to that annoying crank arm... and hello to, the least accurate lazer musket ever made, the recoil hahaha)

the FONV plasma weapons return mod and

steampunk rayguns mod will also be fun to mix-n-match with this.

 

and of course,

affix bayonets or "any shiv any weapon" will be fun!

gaffa-tape the pencil or vault-tec spork will add that all-important +1 damage in survival mode!

 

So, I for one cannot thank the both of you enough,

for making FO4 all the more awesome.
