The longer the playthrough the glitchyer Skyrim gets.

Hello, so I don't know if this just me but I feel like the longer I play on a character and the more time I put onto a play through the glitchyer the game gets. See I never usually play a character past level 20 and at those levels I usually encounter little to no glitches. But recently I have decided to stick to 1 character for a long period of time and I have she is level 63 now and damn is it glitchy I mean it is mainly small stuff but it happens so frequently that I have abandoned this character and have made an new one. And yes I do mod so that may have to do with it a little. But back before I had a gaming pc I played skyrim on the xbox 360 and I encountered the same thing, a bunch of small glitches on a high level character and than it led to a game breaking glitch. So encountered the same long playthrough glitchy phenomenon on an un modded xbox 360 save game than i have on a modded pc playthrough. So, I am not looking for a fix because creating a new character will fix it, I am just wondering does anyone else encounter this? And is there an explanation why?

Yes, definitely. Both modded and unmodded are affected by this. The most likely culprit would be the available system resources and how the game uses them. Adding mods, makes it happen sooner rather than later (although USLEEP does fix up a lot of stuff which can help alleviate to one degree or another). Those with better systems should have better results, but the engine itself is buggy and does whatever it wants.

It seem the DLC's compounded this problem Dawn-guard being the biggest culprit as it is super glitchy at best as it changed Skyrim world space the most. I tried a play-through without leveling past 10 was amazed at how well the game works be it you lose your skill trees ect. but there are mods to circumvent that. It seems to start when you notice the caravans are not showing up at different holds again this starts around level 11 sometimes before but seems only after the Dawn-guard starts and or Dragon-born DLC start and they start when you reach level 10. Also save properly don't save in a large world space only a small cell with little in it example a vanilla store or small un-modded house and let the cell load completely before you even move your character your save should have a clear picture not black and not blurry if it don't than that save can be corrupted only to cause issues down the road. Just saving properly will save you lots of issues there are volumes wrote about it.

I have no issue whatsoever with long playthroughs, for example, I had a character that I spent 134 hours on and I had over 360 mods on that character and yet I had no issues at all. As a matter of fact, I tend to run into more bugs earlier in the game than later.

That is an exception not the rule ...completely vanilla xbox games has these issues let alone modded PC games... I also have high level games without issues it is a gamble and we all know it there is no perfect game most who play on PC found ways to circumvent these issues but only to a point.
