But I have tried and am an utter failure so here is my wish for a player home...lol To anyone that does this thank you. I have been searching for something like this ever since I started adding mods to the game. I would put the location just outside Whiterun near the stables. Maybe between the stables and nearby giant camp because that is a central location on the map for the entire game. I would keep it simple and plain, basically just a convenient location to store my followers when I wasn't using them. Nothing fancy or complicated and it would be ground level, no stairs. OR maybe to save space on the map, have a very small home about the size of a hearthfire addon home when you first start it with a trap door leading to the real home. The 1st room you enter would be very large, maybe close to the size of Dragonreaches main area where the dining tables are and the throne. Just a simple room with a few tables and chairs. I would put the enchanting and alchemy tables in there against the wall side by side and it would be well lit. And it would also be where the fire pit for cooking would be. Basically just a big, clutter free area for the followers to roam around. I would have a side room for smithing just big enough to put everything needed for smithing. I would put this room next to the enchanting/alchemy tables. The next room would be big enough for about 4 single beds and maybe 4 sleeping mats. A table and a couple of chairs. It would be well lit. The last room would be the master bedroom, about the size of the would be Queens bedroom in Solitude. A double bed (without the canopy), and about 10 containers for safe storage. No auto store anything. Just good old fashioned store it yourself. In this room I would like it well lit with the option of lighting the torches for more light or putting them out for less light. All rooms would be very well lit. For me, that would be an awesome player home. Nothing fancy, nothing complicated or extravagant Just simple with very little clutter and safe for storing junk and followers. I bet there are a lot of people out there like me who would love something like this. If anyone decides to do it please let me know and thank you. Just look up other tutorials on Youtube. and once you got it down, you can try experimenting with creating your very own home.
