So i uninstalled fallout 4 and all the mods i had for it a couple weeks ago after finishing my 4th play through. i decided to go for a 5th but i ran into a problem when i download mods from the nexus they wont work. i don't get any errors all the plugins are enabled i enabled mods i even get the loading screen messages for the mods but they aren't in game. When i install mods from the the mods section in the main menu they work just fine. i'm not sure if it matters but i installed fallout 4 to a different hard drive than before. when i tried to start a new game it would load i waited two hours but nothing happened i had made a copy of a few saves for some reason a while ago so i put one in my saves folder and it loaded right up and that the save i'm trying to use mods with i'm not really sure if that matters or not either.

If the game was installed on a different drive than before, you need to set the correct paths in NMM. NMM will still have all of the mods you've installed, but when the NMM path leads to the old location, then the mods won't appear in the game.

To change paths, hit the cogwheels icon top of NMM screen and then hit the Fallout 4 Tab in the pop-up menu. If and when NMM hasn't been re-installed, the top two entries can be left alone. It's the Fallout 4 Directory entry that needs to be adapted.
