I was just think about the Morrowind Tribunal lore and according to various source it says that on Mount Assarnibibi, Molag Bal oversaw the ninety-nine lovers of Boethiah who gave birth to Almalexia. So this would have made Almalexia a god anyway or at the very least an immortal. So my question is why do her powers diminish along with Vivec's and Sotha Sil's when the heart of Lorkhan is destroyed? And why does she even need to rely on the heart of Lorkhan for her divinity?

The story of her supposed birth was created after she, Sotha Sil and Vivec had tapped into the powers of Lorkhan's Heart.  In truth, she was just as mortal as they were.  When the Nerevarine destroys the heart, then her powers wane also.  By then, unfortunately, Almalexia had bought into her own press, so to speak, and truly believed that she was a god.
