Cakes of the Commonwealth, Pastries for Posterity. . . I have a problem.?

I have a problem . . . I'm obsessed with Cakes, Pastries and all manor of sweets. I tried to make a pastry chef character build and there are some weapons like the rolling pin and the knife that work for that kind of build but I thought it would be cool if a brilliant talented modder could turn the lab coat into a chefs jacket/coat with an apron that says " fear the sweet roll " and a retexture of the mini nuke to look like a sweet roll but still have the same punch as a mini nuke. The Pastry King/Queen character build would become the heroic saviour of the Commonwealth.

Oh yeah an more pastries with better food buffs. Cakes, Donuts, Pies. Also maybe Cakes and Pies that work like lures bring raiders and enemies away from the others where they can be stealth killed. But that is probably to hard to do and would require allot of scripting I would imagine.

Indeed, that is some lore-o-rific fascination with food.

My own mod-fu is lackluster, though I'd like to see some mods riffing on this theme emerge hehe.

ultra cooking skills might earn a seat at places like The Gourmand in FONV...

 

Is it a sweeney todd kind of creepy baker build? "we'll bake you into a pie" type thing?

or, is it like an avenger from 'mean pastries' near the Railroad... perhaps a sidekick to pickman?

any further references to Futurama with the bake-off and Spargo hehe.

The Iron Ironchef mod with Takahashi is fun...

"Takahashi informs you; his cuisine reigns supreme." so, i think some folks'd like to see a companion mod or an overhaul of sorts hehe.

they have a tattered recipe book, maybe from a vault, maybe they add recipes to the recipe book as they wander the wastes.

in terms of food being flung at stuff,

we can again use the Junk Jet as a model -

you have a container that people put 'grenades' into,

instead of it being grenade-grenades, it's food craftable 'sugarbombs', cupcakes etc...

you can then fire the grenade at your target.

 

The grenades themselves -

it will be difficult to make 'slow down sludge' grenades, or grenades which alter the environment,

but it is possible to make them have acid burn and status conditionals.

I'm all for more role-playing options. I know the game forces us to play as an person that was drafted into the war and stuff. I know the game also says at the start that the female character served for a short while and became a laywer (or had a law degree)..... but hey, who says we couldn't had been something else before the war, right?
