If the other don't follow then M$ are shooting themselves in the foot, if they do then they can expect to sell less new games as people won't be able to trade in the old ones. People do not have bottomless pits for pockets.

I read about this some where, its not a very good idea, take from sony for instant. The online pass for one, imparently their sales aren't doing to well. well what do you thinks causing it???, the online pass crap of course. Edited by Thor.

You sometimes wonder what these companies are thinking. Anyway this would require an internet connection, something a quarter of 360s don't have.

consoles are great... or they were.... before they tried to mimic PC's at a crappy level. So that's why I went and built my own desktop and paid a decent amount for a good laptop.

 

Consoles were great before when they kept their GPU's up to date-ish. Now game developers would rather go console than PC which makes our game quality hurt. >.>
