Mass Effect 2 ME2 Controller Mod

So I downloaded the mod, I did just as it asked I backed up the original bio games and then copied ME2Controller Biogame over it. I then launch the game and I don't get anything. Controller doesn't work, keyboard doesn't work. I'm wondering if there is another step I'm not doing before I launch the game or if there is something I need to do before I click play. This mod mentions XBox 360 controller is that the only controller these will work with? I currently have this controller

I'm currently using the Xbox one controller, i have the 360 as well , both work with this mod, don't know about that brand.

Xpadder works with Mass Effect 2.
