How do I change the language for ME:A?

Would it be possible to change the menu and subtitle language? I'm one of many frustrated people having to deal with EA's language lock problem. I've contacted EA and the store I made the purchase from. Store blames EA, I blame EA. EA tells me tough luck, nothing we can do. I need to find a dealer wishing to sell an international copy. Problem is, I've paid for the game already, I don't want to pay for another!! If there was a way to mod or pay a small fee to change the Russian menus and subtitles out to a full English version, that would be great!!! Edited by DarkfallElite

I did test to see if there was a way to change the language and I DID find a way. Look in this location:

C:\Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect Andromeda\Save

In here, you are looking for the file named "ProfOpts". Right click it and open it in notepad.

Look for "textLanguage 0". You will change the 0 to a number between 1 and 7, and one of them SHOULD be Russian(didn't test which one would be Russian). Once it is changed, save and start the game. I tested changing the number from 0 to 1 and it changed the menus to French. Hope this helps~!

If this works, you are a true hero. I'll try it on the release tonight. I want it to be in full English so I imagine Russian will be 1-7 and English would be 0?

I've had a look through my computer and don't seem to have that file anywhere.

Judging from the command link you provided, I imagine I need to have a save file on my computer. I'll try this shortly, game releases in 3 hours and 15 mins approx

What I did notice is looking at this folder below showed something that could be interesting:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect Andromeda\Data\Win32\loctext

ru.sb
ru.toc
I get the feeling that maybe changing/swapping those 2 files, whatever they are could help with something.
Any ideas?

I had to start the game and create a save file, but I did locate the folder you mentioned.

I've changed the setting but whenever I start up the game, it changes it back to the default setting it was at before. Still no luck. Can anyone look in their 'Origin Games\Mass Effect Andromeda\Data\Win32\loctext' folder to see what files they have in there?
