I went to Volkihar, encountered some armored skeletons, and it seemed like they all had various combinations of partials. So, I opened them all up in nifskope, did the copy/paste mess for a while, until I had a skeleton wearing full ancient Nord armor. Works great in game, and I was all happy with myself, until I went digging deeper in the archives and found that the same thing already existed and I'd just missed it when I went looking for models.
